Situated near the serene 26-acre walking trails of the Door County Land Trust, it is an ideal destination for a romantic getaway, solo retreat, or a vacation for up to four people.

Accommodations

Inside the cabin, you’ll find an open-concept studio-style layout featuring a queen bed and a full-size futon couch. Ideal for two guests, it can comfortably accommodate up to four individuals. The cabin boasts a full bathroom, a well-equipped kitchen, a back deck overlooking the woods, and a cozy propane fireplace. Enjoy the comforts of free Wi-Fi, ROKU TV, and a fully stocked coffee area complete with a regular and Keurig machine.

Location

Conveniently located on the same property as Chatham Hills, another vacation rental property, Cara’s Cabin offers a private entrance, driveway, and parking. While you enjoy your own space, please be aware that there is another property nearby. The cabin provides easy access to all the attractions of Ephraim Village and Sister Bay, merely a one-minute drive or a scenic 10-minute walk to downtown.

Outdoor Activities

Outdoor enthusiasts will relish the array of activities at their fingertips. We offer two fold-up kayaks with paddles and life jackets, two bicycles, fishing gear, a fire pit, and a gas grill. Take pleasure in outdoor seating options, both in front of the cabin and on the balcony overlooking the nature preserve.

Children & Pet Friendly

We extend our hospitality to both your furry friends and little ones. Your dogs will feel at home with the provided dog crate, bed, toys, and leashes. Please note that a pet fee of $35 per day per dog applies. Additionally, we cater to children’s needs with a pack ‘n play, high chair, and kid-friendly utensils for your convenience.

Included in your stay are various amenities and supplies. We provide kids/baby supplies, pet supplies (as mentioned earlier), dish soap, hand soap, shampoo, conditioner, body wash, a starter set of toilet paper, paper towels, and garbage bags. Enjoy the convenience of free Wi-Fi, ROKU TV, life jackets, helmets, towels, linens, and a selection of coffee, tea, sugar, and mini creamers.

Please note that certain items and services are not provided, such as firewood, monitoring of gas tanks for the grill, and on-site laundry facilities or dishwasher.

Cancellation Policy

Ninety-seven percent (97.00%) of the total booking charges will be refunded if the cancellation is made more than 60 days prior to the arrival date of the reservation. For cancellations made within 60 days prior to the arrival date, no refund will be issued.

Cleaning and Maintenance

We have a professional cleaning service and property management service that assists us with the day to day. We do understand the severity of COVID-19 and have increased the cleaning standards with time longer time between guest stays, more sanitation, and higher standards.
